Tsinghua University's Certificate Program on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We are excited to share this good opportunity that Tsinghua University is offering its prestigious Certificate Program on Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the Digital and AI Economy. 

This program, running from March 6 to May 15, 2025, is a fantastic opportunity for business entrepreneurs, professionals, and academics seeking to enhance their digital and AI skills. We are so delighted to invite you to participate in this upcoming session to learn from esteemed faculty and engage with like-minded professionals. The program is conducted both on campus and online format.

Tsinghua University is one of the leading universities in China, renowned for its excellence in artificial intelligence (AI), innovation, and technology. With cutting-edge research facilities and a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, Tsinghua plays a pivotal role in driving technological advancements.

Program Overview

• Duration: 4 weeks (March 6 – May 15, 2025)

Participants who meet the requirements of 80% class attendance and active group project participation will receive a Program Certificate. Tsinghua University (THU) students will earn one credit unit, while students from other universities should consult their institutions regarding credit transfer. Those who choose to audit the program without meeting attendance and project requirements can still participate but will not receive a certificate. The program is open to students from all majors at Tsinghua University, with limited seats available for non-THU students.

International students and independent participants are warmly welcome to join this program. The program aims to develop innovation and entrepreneurship skills tailored for the digital and AI economy, while also equipping participants with essential competencies for a rapidly evolving global market. 

The course highlights include exploring the advances of GPT technology for product design and development, as well as understanding AI-based intrusion detection systems for IoT security. Participants will also delve into green energy innovations driven by AI and discover AI solutions designed for elderly healthcare. Additionally, the program will address the ethical challenges of AI in education from Asian perspectives and explore innovative approaches to higher education in Africa.

Program Director

Prof. Kris Singh brings over three decades of leadership experience in Silicon Valley and academia. As the Founder & CEO of SRII, he advises organizations on digital economy innovation. His distinguished career includes executive roles at IBM, Intel, AMD, and National Semiconductor, and he currently serves as a Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University and the University of Newcastle, Australia. A renowned advisor to startups and an influential voice at global forums, Kris is dedicated to driving digital innovation and entrepreneurial education.
